They really need to be prepared to open on time. This is not my first experience having to wait for them to be prepared for their 8am opening. I go out on Saturday mornings with friends and Zeke's is one of our spots. However they are seldom ready to open their doors. This week we could get in and be served coffee but no orders could be taken until 8:20.
Food is great as well as the wait staff. They do have a problem opening on time. They open at 8 a.m but are seldom ready to start. I go mainly on Saturdays and then go to work after. Usually people are waiting to get in and this week they weren't prepared to take food orders until 8:20.
Food and service was very good. Sorry to see that the corn bread toast was no longer the size of a piece of bread.
I give the food 5 stars! But my server spilled maple syrup ALL OVER ME AND MY SHOES. I had to come home and wash my brand new shoes and change my clothes before continuing with my day. The issue was that she didn’t ever even check in again or apologize. She just dropped off the check - with no offers of recompense or even a real apology. It has bothered me more and more since I left, because honestly I love the food. It was great. But now I feel that I shouldn’t go back because I didn’t feel valued.
A very good breakfast place. Food is always great and made with freshest ingredients. However they often open late. Today they opened 15 mminutes late and are scrambling to get everyone started. There lucky to have an efficient wait staff. We waited 45minutes to get our breakfast served.
The waitress was great.. the cook overslept so the Restaurant did not open on time. The food however was excellent. Omelette with olives, feta and sun dried tomatoes was perfect. All served hot..great meal

For a short-order breakfast spot, this is outstanding. A creative menu, great breads, good coffee, all well-cooked and presented with good value for what it cost.
The food is always good. Today I had the asparagus, roasted pepper omelet. Their breads are homemade and delicious.
The servers are never nice and they never come around to let you order, or check up on you, but the food is great for the price.
Bit of a wait for the food. Cramped seating between tables along the wall. Pancakes were very good. Eggs benedict, not so much. canadian bacon over cooked.

Canned black olives in the Mediterranean scramble was a bummer. Kalamata should be used. Remember corn bread having more flavor in the past..

We LOVE this place!! Due to the popularity of this wonderful place....time is not your friend. If you are in a hurry...go to Burger King !! This is a place for great company and awesome made-from-scratch food!! ??

Delicious food! Friendly staff! Homemade bread is a real treat! Zeke’s has become a favorite for Sunday breakfast followed by a walk on one of Cape Ann’s beautiful beaches.

Menu choices and food are wonderful. The only drawback is the length of the wait between ordering and service. The place is small and there is room for only one cook.

Receiving meals was pretty slow, we dined Sat. Morning so it was a busy time, so we expected the food to take time, so we ordered a fruit cup to enjoy prior to the meal, but the fruit cup didn't arrive until the food arrived.
