The service was good considering there was ONLY ONE employee in the whole place!!! And she was doing everything as best as she could. The management/owner should be ashamed for allowing that to happen. We left her a huge tip, but she should have been pain triple by her boss.

Our waitress was really busy but always stopped by to check on us...sometimes running.
We had hamburger baskets and it tasted like fresh grilled burgers. They have a popcorn machine, free for their patrons which we love too!

The bar didn't seem busy, but nobody waited on us for the first 5or 10 minutes that we were there. So I went up to the bar and ordered our drinks and sandwiches on my own. Two different waitresses showed up after I had ordered to help us, and I asked my wife where they had come from, as we didn't see them at first. Perhaps taking a break or smoking out back? Not sure. But the food and drinks were very good.

We sat at a booth...it was dirty and not cleaned by th waitress when we ordered...there was not any dishes on it, but, needed to be wiped down. She never asked my husband how to cook his burger ( I asked for Med Rare) so he got a Med Rare as well. He likes Med Well.

Bartender was only one there when we walked in--very friendly--got our drinks--took our order-by the time the food was ready--he prepared-another server came on shift and brought us our food--she was very nice too

The popcorn is delicious, they make excellent Old Fashion drinks, the staff is always so friendly. We have taken several people for the first time and they all liked it.

long wait for the food. I ordered the same thing for lunch the last time I was here and it was fantastic..today, not so much. it was the ahi salad.
We went for a fish fry, and they had perch, walleye fingers and generic, all reasonable price. Good taste, not greasy. Pub chips were really good, and cole slaw, though small portion, was very tasty! Much better than average pub fare! Music was a bit loud, but a nice fun bar.

Freshest sashimi. Dinner includes soup or salad...generous portions. Appetizers are perfectly seasoned with generous portions, the chicken livers are outstanding.Keiko and Dora are so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Love Nippon.
Food was just so-so. Salad was tasty but entrees: pork chops not very tender and the fish had a fishy taste and smell.

We love this restaurant. The only complaint my husband has is they need some bright lights outside because they always look like they are closed from the dark appearance. We still go though.

The service was very slow. The order that was brought to the table was done order at a time. The got the orders wrong and even didn't bring the sushi. They forgot to make it.

Nice atmosphere. Contemporary decor. Family-friendly. Shrimp Bomb and Sweet Mesquite BBQ sandwich were excellent. Complimentary cheesy jalapeno cornbread was a nice surprise and a good appetizer. Will return.

I couldn't believe how small my burger was and how nothing came on it. By the time I had LTO added, it was 75% more than the list price on the menu. Unbelievable. Came without side.

It was very delicious. While they were wonderfully accomodating, I don't think I would bring the kids again - at least not the toddlers. Definitely a place we would go as a couple again.
We've been going to the Nickel for years. Fun atmosphere and the food is always good. Prices are competitive. The coupon gave us even a little more incentive...an added bonus, so to speak. We enjoy it there.
The menu consists of mostly unhealthy food choices...typical fried and greasy bar food. There were no salad choices on their menu. The restaurant was busy when we were there and there were only two staff, a waitress and a cook, so service was somewhat slow. However, considering how many people the waitress had to serve, she was doing an amazing job. Not sure we will go back because of the unhealthy menu options.

Being the first time in there it was akward because we were not accustomed to the order of things and the waitress acted as if we were regulars.
The food was not anything special. Just regular "bar food" with expensive add-on's like lettuce and tomato.

This was a very small bar and grill. It's not ideal if you have a party of 4 or more people. The food was below average but I suppose it's not primarily a restaurant so it's what you'd expect for bar food. It was definately overpriced though. I will not return.

Our waitress was very nice, however she had to handle the bar and food. Way too much work for one person, should have her just handling the food as all tables were full. Again, she was very nice and got to us when she could. She was working very, very hard to get everything done.
