Service is always a bit on the slow side
All was good except that the food was slow in coming. Cordial, attentive server was apologetic, saying they had a big party just ahead of us. Nice how they kept refilling our chips and salsa & also brought us not-so-hot delicious salsa on request. They accepted our Restaurant.com coupon with no problem.

The food is very good here. Be aware that it is spicy, which I like. Tonight the service was a little slow.
The only problem we had was that Brent was the only server. He needed another one. It took us fifteen minutes to get our drinks, after we reminded him. The service is usually always great. This time we came in a little earlier than normal so we caught the lunch crowd.

The pizza was good and it was hot. The garlic bread was good but the sauce for the bread was ice cold.
We got our pizza to go.This was my first time ordering pizza from Umbrio. I was kind of skeptical at first, but man, this pizza was awesome. The staff was very friendly, outgoing, and answered every question. Also, the restaurant was very clean, which is a plus. I will be ordering from Umbrio again,. That's for sure.
When we first ordered, they were unable to fulfill our order because they had run out of a certain ingredient, so we had to order a different selection

Nick is so nice! He knows me by my pizza & always is very pleasant. He has a big smile on his face every time I come in, and he always thanks me sincerely for ordering from Umbria. This past time, Nick even said that they had missed me, too (I had said that I'd missed going there). Nick is just TERRIFIC. He makes the crust so perfectly, and the ingredients are always super-fresh! Would Nick be willing to open up an Umbria location near New Orleans, since I'm planning on moving to that area within the next three years? I can't imagine living the rest of my life without my favorite pizza, as made by Nick at Umbria!
The restaurant itself is not cosmetically appealing and it was stifling hot inside so that I had to go sit in my car with the air conditioning on while I waited for my order

We got mushrooms on our pizza and the menu didn't state they had any, I called them as none of us eat mushrooms and I was told there was nothing they could do about it- didn't even bother to offer us a new pizza without mushrooms.
