I had two gift cards and we wanted to use them both, our meal was about $45 and we were not allowed to. The lady at register said we had to spend $50 in order for us to be able to use a $25 giftcard. So she made us have to buy something from their bakery in order for us to be able to use the card. It was not that great of service and food to be able to want to go back again especially after that.

Food was good service was poor. Server seemed new and didn’t really listen to my order. I order dry toast and it came buttered. I ordered fruit instead of hash browns and it came with hash brown. I ordered salsa instead of the sour cream that came with the omelet. All of those things were corrected. She just needs to listen to her customers.

They have a great selection of food. I had liver & onions. You can hardly find it anywhere. TJ's is excellent! You have to try their cinnamon rolls. They can't be beat.

It took an hour to be seated and for part of our order to reach the table, some of the slowest service possible. It took another 10 minutes for our pancakes and toast to arrive. People who had come in after us were served at least ten minutes before us. The place was uncomfortably hot.

The a/c was out but we were seated anyway and the waitress was clearly upset about the situation. The food was good but not hot when it came to the table. When it came time for a refill of coffee, we had to wave down the waitress. She apologized for the situation but apparently it was just not a good morning to be there. All of the staff we encountered were a bit upset with the situation and passed it along with their actions (Some people even complained about our waitress out loud where customers could hear them!)

Number 12 omelet meal will leave you hungry, small omelet for the price, go to peoria cafe for the garbage omelet, only a buck more and 3 times the amount of food, won't leave hungry. They need to step it up at TJ's if they are gonna make it. The waitress "we had her before", is forgetful and slow and doesn't address what needs to be done, she once forgot to put in our order for 45 minutes! Golden corral or other places are much better with everything. Sorry, but we won't be back now that our restaurant.com coupons are gone. We even told the lady "mama" who rang us out about the portions and she had nothing to say, she just kinda shrugged. Oh Well, good luck to them!

very slow service but it was sat AM, busy time. Took forever to get drink refills. I didnt like the upcharged for every little item u wanted. My bill was an extra $4 wheras any other restautrant would gladly accomdate little extras.

Husband ordered all you can eat fish. First batch come out burnt and didn't receive hush puppies. My son and I had biscuits and gravy. The gravy was too thick and biscuits were dry.

Pretty good food and service. Over 5 dollars for 4 eggs is a bit much. 1.99 for hashbrowns are too much also. And over 5 dollars for pancakes is a bit pricey. We would not come here without the 1/2 off coupon. Must say they have the best coffee around! Yum!

We are never disappointed with food choice. Everything tastes like home cooking like grandma used to do, so we have a hard time deciding what to order. Tonight I had liver/onions and hubby had chicken fried steak and a lemon meringue pie brought home for Easter Sunday.

The busier they get, the worse the service is. Biscuits and gravy came out 15 minutes before the rest of the order... For the almost 10 bucks for a small omelet, you can get all u can eat at golden corral, or good tasting food at Genie G's. I have tried and tried and tried to give them a shot over n over, it's just not consistent. The gravy is bland and chunky, "not in a good way either". The pies are good, and the only thing that always is. The owner smelled really bad of cigarettes also. Sorry TJ's, we are done with you!

We eat here about 2-3 times per month...once with a Restaurant.com coupon and 1-2 times without. Our waitress is like a friend to us now....LOL...she probably doesn't know that.

This was our first time to TJ's. Quite a long wait to get a table, but we were OK with that. To us, that means it must be a good place to eat! Staff was very friendly. Our server did well for our family of 8. Huge portions and good food. We will be back!

Large portions that taste like home cooking. All their pies are made with fresh fruit with light flaky crust. You just can't find that anywhere else anymore. The cream pies are made with real cream and not that awful artificial pudding. And to top it off the staff is very, very friendly....we felt like we were with family.

Food was good except for the bread on my wife's sandwich was burnt and should have been re-toasted before serving it. This makes the difference between a fair cook and a great cook. I will try again and hopefully nothing will be served burnt the next time because I would like to go back many times.

We went at 11am on a Friday, the day before a holiday, and it was crowded. We were told there was a 15 minute wait for a table but we choose to sit at the bar for immediate seating. The food took 50 minutes to arrive and only received one drink refill. Glass sat empty and cashier brought check and stopped serving us halfway through finishing our food.

Best breakfast ever. Make sure you are hungry the portions are huge. You can get freshly baked whole pies to go to get to the minimum charge and they are outstanding. TJ tells me that cakes and pies are made from scratch
