The new owner has made some changes to the menu. He makes escargot the right way. Not like the original owner. Some choices are yon the menu and he added “Today’s Specials”. We enjoyed the meal.
Normally the experience is excellent but this time our reservation was at 7, we were not seated until 7:20 and had to go to the hostess stand after we sat for 25 minutes with no server coming to us. It was another 5 min before a manager came to apologize, although they did take $20 off our bill as compensation.
Loved the cheese fondue and chocolate fondue. Liked the idea of cooking our food at the table
Excellent food and a pleasant atmosphere but 2 hours and 45 minutes to finish a meal when the place was not crowded is uncalled for. I did not leave a tip for the first time in my life.

Starting with their bread and ending with the dessert, everything was served at the correct temperature and tasted wonderful. Our waitress was attentive to our needs but not annoying.

Menu sounded great, but ingredients were very poor quality. Server in training slopped food all over the table and almost all over me. This was my birthday celebration and it was so disappointing we didn't even order dessert.
It is a little confusing to order, but the staff helped us through it. The pace was slow, which was ok, but diners beware they should not expect to get in an out quickly.

Food was great but expensive - we knew it would be. Service was excellent to start but then was really slow at the end.
It was Wings night, busy and loud. Food took a long time coming but was very good. Prime rib was very good, tender but a little salty. Green beans looked and tasted like they were out of a can. Crab cakes were excellent.

One waitress for very busy crowd, never came to check on us or if we needed anything, after waiting half hour after eating we had to go after our check. Food was overpriced

service extremely slow. salad did not come out before dinner. After ordering approx. 30 min later, I had to ask the server if I could get my salad. Salad was brought out same time as dinner.

Great food and great prices. Been coming to the "C" since 1988. Great people, great bartenders and wait staff and great management. I never had a bad meal at the C.

We sere a bit chilled when the AC kicked on and we were asked if we were uncomfortable and the staff turned it down a bit. Very accommodating! There were only two tables occupied at the time. Our hot food was served hot, and cold was cold. Portions were very generous, and the flavors were wonderful.

The crab stuffed lobster was amazing. I always enjoy the macaroni and cheese.
Lobster tail not completely cooked, breading on oysters has a strange herb in it giving them a strange flavor

The wait staff and bartenders were wonderful. I sent horrible looking wings back TWICE as they were too dry too done and not appetizing to eat. Finally ate soup and skipped meal. It was the same way last week. Looking forward to change back to normal next week~~~!!!
It took almost an hour before we were served our appetizer and the restaurant was only half full. The waitress was wonderful,but the kitchen not so much... I ordered the 16 oz grilled ribeye and when it finally arrived I could tell it wasn't cooked on the grill. It had been cooked on a flat top. The steak itself was overly fatty. I trimmed almost a third of the steak away in fat. This was the first and last time I will order this steak from the menu....

Ethen, our waiter was excellent. The food was excellent, but they put my son and me into a tiny cubicle. We couldn't see any other people. It was a romantic spot, but I told her I was with my son.

If you can get past "boiling" your own food at a very expensive restaurant, then you'll be fine. I didn't mind the food at all, but next time I want to cook my own food and be charged TOP dollar for it, I will stay at home!!
Nice atmosphere . Menu is confusing on how to Order and what to order. Drinks menu has specialty drinks listed so it makes it seem like that's all you can order. Waiter was good with explaining things but still ordering food was confusing

Our waitress, Kelly, was terrible. I understand it was a busy night, but she would forget everything. It took almost 30 minutes and 3 times asking for my friend to get his martini in the beginning. Then she would forget everyone else's beverages throughout the night where we would have to constantly ask for them. We asked for the bill to be separated at the beginning and she brought it over not separated. Everytime we had to ask for something we had to wait 5-10 minutes to see her again. We've always had stellar service, even on busy nights, so this was just frustrating. She reminded us several (I counted 3 times) that this was not her primary job. She's an ER nurse. Yeah we get it, but it doesn't excuse the poor service.
Portions have gotten smaller and prices have increased!

Every time we go, the girls and I always are treated excellent..we meet two to three times a year and this is the only place we go..we love it, the service, the perfection in which the food is cooked and the personalities of the waitstaff add a nice injection of levity.

The food was AMAZING. the waitress was a little absent and we had to wait quite a while to ask for drink refills, but an owner came to the table at one point so it was a nice touch.

Staff are friendly and knowledgable. Take their time with you. Give you the right amount of time without feeling bothersome or neglectful! Great with the children. Love the atmosphere. The facility is always clean. We arrived early and it was raining. They let us in to wait...so sweet.

A 4 course meal was required to use the coupon. That was way too much for me and my guests. Cheese course, salad and dessert were good. Main meal was just OK. We didn't eat all the food, but couldn't have brought it home if we wanted due to the nature of the cooking it ourselves. Also, we were concerned about not cooking our food long enough. Didn't like that requirement. I'm glad I tried it. We had some laughs. But for what I paid, it def wasn't worth it - even with the coupon. I won't be returning.
We were surprised that we had to cook our own meats/shrimp/chicken. Fondue appetizer and Fondue dessert are OK but cooking your own entree is hit or miss.
When the dessert came and there was so little to dip, I asked the waitress if I hadn't asked for enough for 3 people and the response was that the amount of food to dip was not increased, just the amount of chocolate.This very much surprised all of us.

Our server was amazing. Friendly, excited about the food she served, patient and accommodating. Her descriptions of the food made things taste better. She made the experience worth it.

We had an excellent experience at the Melting Pot. The Manager, Sean and our waitress, Alex were exceptionally nice to our large party of novice fonduers! Great atmosphere and lots of fun! It's more of an experience than just a meal! We'll be back!

The Melting Pot is one of my (and my family's) top three favorite restaurants. Do not skip dessert. The chocolate fondue is amazing!

Such small portions for the price. I was not satisfied with how much we spent and what we got. The entree was so small my husband left hungry. We will not be going back.

great atmoshere. Flavorful dinner. Server was slow to return and what could have been a 2 hour dinning experience was almost 3hours- too long for parents needing to get home to put kids to bed!
We had a great experience except we were too close to some other very loud parties which kind of diminished the experience. After that party left, we were able to enjoy ourselves more but the first 30 minutes we were there it was torture. Our server was great, very attentive when we needed things and offered suggestions when we were unsure.
One person became ill and had top leave during the first course of a four course meal. It would have been nice to have singer of that meal credited especially since the bil was over $350.

Cozy atmosphere. The light is dark a bit. There is not so much space in booths for 4 adults, I'd say such space fits for 2 people. When all food is on the table you can barely move your plates. The food is great, the service is excellent.
The first coarse was greatand salad was excellent and different. The main coarse had to much pepper and my wife did not eat any.The dessert was excellent.I have another certificate but will not use it for the 4 coarse meal but will return for the dessert.

Fun way to eat out, will come with a big group next time
There were some improvements that could be made on the vegetarian entree that we ordered. The tofu should not have sauce on it if its going to be dipped fondue, the sauce just ends up coming off and adding an odd flavor to the fondue. Because it was a peanut sauce it was even worse because it didn't match the flavor of the mojo fondue. A plain tofu or one flavored with simple herbs would be better. Another problem was that the asparagus had obviously not been stored properly with its ends in water, it was all dried up and shriveled. We mentioned it to our server who did not offer to replace it.

I felt the food -- while excellent -- was VERY expensive. I would not do this again and I would definitely caution people about the cost before they went.

cheese fondue was runny, we had to tell the waitress it was not right, a less experienced fondue customer would not know the difference most likely, and would have accepted the course as is. waitress was not attentive to us. we may come back only for the novelty of the restaurant, not the food or the experience.
