The wait staff was very polite and offered suggestions. I would not sit near the windows as it’s very drafty. We actually changed seats. The ambiance is pleasant with the fireplace inside. However, the food was mediocre. My mom got a chef salad and it look amazing, but I ordered the recommended chicken salad sandwich which apparently is highly recognized, but I thought it was very bland and the portion size was incredibly small in relation to the bread and lettuce/tomatoes on it. The main thing I could taste was the tomato. There was mustard on the table so I actually removed the tomato and put mustard on it to help which may seem odd, but it needed something. To provide on idea on the portion size it was smaller than the tomato slice. I also ordered the soup of the day. I think it was called golden soup. I was described as a Reuben in a bowl. In no way did it taste like a rueben. I never salt anything, but fried chicken and this again was so bland. I would never get it again and I love reubens. Honestly, I have nothing I can even compare it to as there was no detection of any ingredients similar to a Reuben or anything I can think off. It just tasted like wet soggy bread.

great atmosphere with the fire going. Plenty of tvs with the sports games on. There’s a wait for tables around 6:30. Food always good.
The restaurant was very busy, but our food came out quickly and our special orders were 100% correct. Carson was an excellent server.
Nice place, not too big. Kept a steady crowd. We did not have to wait long for a table. The staff was friendly and there were plenty of them to help out.

The tomato bisque soup was not soup. It was sauce.. like marinara or spaghetti sauce.
Great outdoor seating area. Very cozy. Not on a main road. They usually have a small fire going too, so that adds to the vibe.

It's hard to believe that a local bar can consistently serve such good food. I understand why they've stood the test of time.

Very popular and crowded restaurant. Food was very good though took a while. The only drawbacks to our experience were due to the place being a victim of their own success.

Food was fantastic!! It was more than I could eat....but because it was so good.....I couldn’t stop eating the meal! Their salads are delicious and plentiful. I’ve been to The Country Club Inn a few times and I’ve never had a bad experience or food! Love, Love, Love The Country Club Inn!!

The salad had chicken and dressing that didn’t have any flavor, unripened tomatoes, a couple onions and I had to tell them that it was missing the croutons.

Super noisy inside so we chose to sit outside which was very nice. Great service; delicious food; reasonable prices.

We had a waitress that was fairly new but she went out of her way to make sure she was being attentive and that we were happy (including our two small boys). She was great!
My Number 1 pet peeve is not being asked if we wanted refills. I understand when the place is busy, it can get over looked. But there was only 1 other table with 2 people in the place at the time. Another server ended up taking care of us.

I ordered to go and it appeared because I was using a coupon that the server wasn't as pleasant. It cost her, her tip. I've worked in restaurants and having a pleasant personality is definitely a must.
Outdoor dining is great ! Nice and relaxing wait staff tries to limit visits to table but we're in no rush. The special chicken caprese salad was outstanding and steak sandwich very good!

Food better than neutral but only good. I had steak sandwich and meat was not tender. Fries were just OK. I had $10 certificate to apply (was with a friend). Meal was worth the final cost, not if I had paid $10 out of pocket. Will try again. Sometimes 1st visit is misleading. Have two certs to use.

My husband's tuna sandwich was prepared medium rare and was delicious. However, the steak on my philly steak sandwich had a very strange and unacceptable flavor that I didn't care for. I was very disappointed.

The fish sandwich was terrible in all ways!! I asked the server for some recommendations and was told the fish sandwich My husband had a special of the day which was a Summer Salad. It look good and he said it was very good. I will give them another chance, now I know one menu selection NOT to order...fish
