I enjoyed the meat dishes better than the vegetarian ones, which lacked as much spice/flavor. The cottage cheese is AMAZING!
Being Valentine's Day there was a waiting line to eat. The bar became empty so we chose to eat there and fight the waitress's filling glasses and water splashing on the counter. Waitresses were helpful in giving pointers on the food and how to eat with your fingers.

Love Ethiopian food and tonight in spite of a long wait to be served our order was particularly fresh tasting.
Food was excellent. Service was fair. Not too much detail to checking in with the guests to see their ongoing needs. Several of us were new to this dining so an explanation of what to expect would have helped a lot. I would come back for the food.
I enjoyed the dinner however I had difficulty locating my voucher on my phone and utilization partly due to first time trying it out
I am vegan and love Queen Sheba since they are vegan friendly... deliciously so. I mostly love the lunch buffet so when we go to dinner, have the same things in a dinner plate.

Because this was our first visit and we loved the decor, the service and most of all the food. While we do not live in CA, we definitely would recommend this restaurant to others traveling to Sacamento.

I really didn't care for the food.
We tried the lamb tibbs, beef tibs and doro wot. The beef was very tough and pretty much not edible. The service was friendly, but very slow (we were the only ones there)

Food was great! Place has nice Ethiopian pictures. I say it is good for a big group since 2-3 people can share a large plate.

The food was amazing!!! The server took the time to explain each dish and how to eat it. She also brought us samples of other foods we inquired about. It was a great meal.

This restaurant, while good is a test of your patience when they are busy. We were not put off by it, but several other customers were. They are a family run business and there is one woman who waits tables for the whole establishment, and she busses tables and runs the register as well. Can be frustrating if you are in a hurry
Food and service are perfect, atmosphere is great.
Food is great and staff is friendly. Only issue is when the place gets busy it takes awhile for drinks or refills.
We were pleasantly surprised. Will visit again.

We LOVE Queen Sheba!!! Have been regulars for years. The food is fantastic and authentic. Zion, the owner, and her staff welcome us like family. It's like going home to eat-not like eating out! We recommend QS to everyone and have taken out-of-town guests and family there.

We tried the Chicken Doro Wot, Beef Kitfo, Lamb Tibbs, and Vegetarian Combination. Everyone agreed the Lamb Tibbs was outstanding, just perfect in flavor and tenderness. The Chicken Doro Wot and Beef Kitfo were spicy and tasted good. The different items in the Vegetarian Combination tasted very good. Everything was enjoyable for this dining experience, and it was fun for all to eat with your fingers!
The food is always great. The service can sometimes be a little slow (drink refills, etc), but it's forgivable.
Have eaten there in the past many times. Always thought it was on the pricey side, but with the restaurant.com offer, it made it more reasonable (but still pricey). This time the food was too salty and meats very dry. The ethiopian iced tea was weak.
The food was delicious and the server was very nice and made great recommendations. I will definitely go again.
