Fantastic food. Quick service. Lots of vegan options. Perfect meal before or after seeing a play!
The service was trouble.we asked her questions that she didn’t have a answer and she didn’t offer to ask someone else. We ask more water never got it . Ask for extra napkins I’m waiting for them. Just bad service

I have eaten here in the past and loved it. I even recommended it to others. Not this time! They changed the menu, only 1 gluten free/ Began option. Server was terrible. I asked questions and not only did she not know, she wouldn’t ask for the info. I ordered soup and a very small salad was placed with n Friday t of me. I figured it was mine so I started eating it. When I asked for my soup she said it would be 3-4 dollars. I said I ordered soup and she said, yeah I know, but you ate the salad. We asked for extra napkins which we never received. We did get water refilled once. The glasses are small so I asked a few times for more water. My fire bowl with mushroom was brought out shortly after they placed salad down. My son didn’t have his meal brought to him. The rice bowl had nothing on it. No sauce nothing. A bowl of brown rice and mushrooms on top. Extreamly fry with no taste. I have been here a lot and usually have several options, but not now. Very dissatisfied.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. This restaurant uses very high-quality organic food at a very reasonable price. There are many options for both vegan, vegetarian and omnivores. A foodie’s paradise! The location is right in the middle of Playhouse Square!
Food was very good, refills on water a little slow, atmosphere kind of cafeteria like. Overall we definitely would go back.

At first we were nervous because we were the only ones in the restaurant, but it ended up being some of the best food we've had in Cleveland. Everything was fresh, not too salty or greasy, real home-made quality food. We had the black bean tacos, philly cheese steak, two delicious smoothies, and banana caramel crepes for dessert!
Fast and friendly service. Great to go before a show. Good Began / Gluten free food.
As a Vegan dining with a non vegan we all got excellent meals and the service (Natile) was wonderful.

Being a lacto-ovo vegetarian, Phuel is the only downtown CLE restaurant where I can count on having a number of different, imaginative menu offerings from which to choose. The serving staff (and owner?) are super attentive and always happy to see you.
Food was very good: fresh, nice-sized portions. Waitress was very quick and friendly.
Service was not as great as it ususally is. We normally go in the morning and the service people are so friendly and happy to see us. The afternoon staff - not so much.

I am a vegetarian, hubby is not. We both had an excellent meal. Food was really good. Service was great. Overall nice little restaurant. Would definitely go back if we are ever in the area again.

Excellent! Food portion was really good and loved the healthy choices. Vegan & Gluten free friendly with a lot of choices! Brandon was an excellent server and we would recommend the homemade lemonaid! Give them a try!!

The food is quick, delicious and well-seasoned. The staff is friendly and attentive. Great location.
I should have taken the que the minute we walked into the restaurant. It was a tiny place and he asked if we had reservations, even though there were clearly tables available. He winced when we said no, but there was never a wait for tables the entire time we were there. The waiter was rushed and not very helpful or friendly. It was not very crowded because the place is so small, but he was the only one, so it was understood. He tried, but it was forced and it was obvious. We asked questions and he clearly was annoyed. The glaring light flashing inside the restaurant from the building across the street was somewhat distracting. There appeared to be two cooks but for some reason our food took longer than expected. We had omlettes, and I've had much better omlettes elsewhere--there was hardly any filling. The potatoes were very good, though. The fruit as a side? A quarter of a strawberry and a 1 1/2 inch piece of pineapple. I glanced at others plates while we were in the restaurant and the only thing that looked good was the pancakes. I was also glad I didn't order one of the other dishes because when I saw them brought out for others they did not look all that good. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and it was a nice atmosphere to hang out with friends, but we will not be returning. Only tried it because we had the restaurant.com discount. Not worth what we would have paid, no matter how "healthy" the food is supposed to be.
Fish was under cooked and fishy tasting. The veal dish was also bad tasting.
