I am not joking....the lemon cookies at Gramma's are seriously THE BEST COOKIES I HAVE EVER EATEN! I am not a sugar cookie person but this was perfect...tender, just sweet enough, the lemon icing was delicious and made the cookie amazing! We bought chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin also...excellant cookies...lots of good flavor and nice tender cookies...but the lemon! I bought a dozen and made my son and his fiance SHARE one!! Treat yourself....I don't go to Prescott without stopping here!! 20 years now...
The smells of the bakery are awesome.
They didn't take the gift certificate, but I called probably 10 times before I got an answer and I asked to make an order and the girl said she would call back,, yet never did. I tried to stop in to place the order and they they were closed( against their normal business hours). Tried to call again and no answer, so stopped in again to give my order. Finally, 'my husband went in the next day to pick up and the order was way off! Pretty frustrating!
Owner was willing to serve us at closing time.
Walked in and that fresh bakery smell delighted the senses. It was around noon on a Saturday, so the place had been pretty busy for a few hours before we arrived. There were plenty of items still available. We chose a lemon Napoleon, chocolate creme Napoleon, a chocolate raspberry Napoleon, and 2 cinnamon sweet rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious. The Napoleons were light, with the perfect amount of fillings. Just wonderful. The clerk was pleasant and efficient. Will definitely be back at full price! Thanks for the deal!!!
