We have liked Frankies since the 70s, when we would go to the Ashland restaurant. We are thrilled they are also in Hayward & we go every couple weeks when we are up north for the summer season.

The waitress didn't fully understand the drink order. Perhaps she was new.

Sometimes, their pizza isn't good, mainly the crust. This time, the crust was as crisp as it should be and nummy!

The Frankies in Hayward is so unpredictable. One time, the crust is fully cooked and crispy. This time, it was soggy. Even the outer crust wasn't crunchy and should have been. There was no one there--not busy.

Pizza was quite good and the toppings and cheese were very generous. The waitress was very good and helpful and knowledgeable.
