Enjoyed the food. It was beautifully plated and tasted fresh and authentic. Service was good and the staff was welcoming.
Tips are included in the bill but the final credit card charge slip to sign has a line for a tip and does not specify that the tip was already included in the bill. It would be nice for the customers if the tip line whould say ADDITIONAL TIP.
Tonight we saw what looked like a great dish being served at the next table. We will order that next time... a seafood combination.

Do not let the outside appearance turn you away. It is a quaint, very clean, great place to dine. I have eaten ceviche in many countries and their mix ceviche is truly the best I have ever had. It has a combination of sweet and spicy with a sauce that makes you want to lick the plate.

Great little authentic restaurant. The ceviche mixed spicy was absolutely amazing. We have eaten ceviche many places in the US and in other countries. This was easily top three and possibly my favorite!
They close at 230pm daily and open back up at 5pm. They kindly let us stay after 230 without rushing us. They were so nice. The food was amazing.
The hostess Alexandra was also the waitress. She patiently guided us to our food selections. We were both very pleased.

We always have great service and delicious meals. It's nice to be able to sit outside when the weather permits.
The chef came out to the dining room, chatted with us, and took special requests. The presentation and portion size was excellent with a full range of items included on each plate from salad to dessert.

We have been coming here for years, always a positive dining experience, from the food to the service. And when you're leaving the restaurant they have a wonderful selection of pastries and breads and nut rolls for purchase. It doesn't get any better than that!

The restaurant is part of the DoubleTree Hotel chain and is overpriced for the amount and quality of the food served. The restaurant is no longer named,On the Bone.There was only four tables in the restaurant at 6:30 p.m.and when I inquired as to the slow business the wait staff informed me that the restaurant is listed as closed on the Doubletree Hotel website. The wait staff was very friendly and the food was average but again priced high.

Food was very good. The extra charge for some of the side dishes is too high. For example - the tiny serving of mac and cheese. That's way too high for such a tiny amount of food. The serving of sweet potato fries, and the serving of loaded mashed potatoes were about the right size, butnot sure why you would charge extra for sweet potato fries. Sweet potatoes are very cheap.
Very good food. We have tried most of the Peruvian restaurants in the Bradenton / Sarasota area, and find this one to be the best. Make sure you have a reservation for Saturday evenings.

We enjoyed everything but felt that without the coupon the meal would have been too costly.
We had been forwarned not to go heavy on the salad bar but to save room for all the meats.The meats were very tasty, but a bit salty for my taste. The service was excellent. The San Mateo location is very attractive. There was live music ( a bit load). It is really a restaurant format for big eaters. I probably will not return.

I've dined here 5 times and have never had a bad meal or experience. The prices are a little high but there is always food left for another meal so that counter-balances the cost.

I don't know the amount charged to the credit card - it was my husband's and he took care of it. We love El Warike Peruvian restaurant. The food is delicious and plentiful and the owners are extremely nice and friendly. We brought friends who had nver dined there before and they too loved it!
We have been there twice and were blown away both times by the amazing flavor, portions, and presentation! We will never let any future guests leave town without a dinner there first. The sangria is packed with fruit, too. everything is beyond perfect! It is now one of our top 3 favorite restaurants in the Sara/Brad area.
Food is always so good. The people that work there are always very kind and friendly and happy to talk about the food with you. Just a good, hole-in-the-wall find!

I've only been there during "early bird" times. Sometimes we have been the only diners at 5 p.m. The service is always excellent, the food is wonderful and flavorful and we usually have leftovers for the next day.
Don't let the street sign or building exterior fool you! Inside is a gem of a restuarant with traditional Peruvian food. Portions are large and presented beautifully. A few updates would help, but overall, it was worth the effort to find and discover this great place.
Only negative is that they automatically add 18% gratuity to every check; regardless of party size.

The food is really good. I asked if chicken could be substituted for beef, as I am on a special diet, and they made the adjustment, very accommodating. Very nice decor. The wait staff looked over us all through the meal, and our water glasses were always kept full. This is a family run business that wants you to have a great meal.

Last evening she cleared plate after helping me with my appetizer and then even suggested we have desert, which we practically never do.
Everything was so good. The waitress explained everything. The place was very clean and the food was outstanding. The ceviche was perfect.

The food was great, but the noise level was too much for us. There was a family with 4 kids, and the kids were noisy and kept jumping around. There was a group of 3 adults, that brought their own bottle of wine, they talked so laud, we could hardly hear ourselves speak to each other.
We will come back with friends. It was a wonderful cultural experience and the food was great. I would never have know it existed!

After a 20 minute wait to be acknowledged by the server I ordered a sirloin well done, it came out very, very rare (still ice cold in the middle). The server took it back to the kitchen and after a 10 minute wait it came out burnt on the outside but still raw in the center. I can understand having the occasional problem when eating out at a very busy restaurant on the weekend but this was a Tuesday night and there were only 4 other people in the 20 or so seat dining room. I definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Loved the Cevechie. Excellent service. Had to take our main dish home, as we ate too many appetizers. They were so good!I have to say I was very surprised at the high quality of the food compared to the outside surroundings. I'm so glad we tried it.

My husbands steak was great but just plain white rice. My chicken and rice had way too much cilantro and the veggies were weird. Yucca was served dry.
We eat out often and place of desire is the Peruvian Restaurant, but we do eat out elsewhere. Peruvian is our most liked restaurant. And we do like Italian and we do get allot of coupons for discount at a few of them, although they are our best desire, if possible I would eat at Peruvian much more often. We have tried this restaurant in the past and been less than impressed due to our own unfamiliarity with Peruvian Cuisine. This visit we had suggections from our kids who have moved to Peru and a wonderful recommendation from the Chef of "Lomo a lo Macho" - sirlion and shrimp. The flavors were exquisite, the presentation handsome, the portions generous and the Homemade Sangria was devine. If you have never been before I recommend a selection of the appetizers my wife ordered - Yucca Huancaina, Half Fish Ceviche,Papa Rellena and a House Salad. Their website also helped inform our selections. Were definately going back soon.

What a gem! Located in a nondescript shopping strip, we called first to ask their closing time and thought we couldn't make it...he assured us he would wait for us and he did..and boy, were we glad. Delicious and delightful. We live 45 minutes away but will make this journey once a month to try his entire menu. Started with the Papa relleno- fantastic. We each got a different dish so we could share and agreed that each one was a hit. Chaufa de Pollo (chicken fried rice),Seco de res (beef in cilantro), Shrimp picante, and Lomo a lo macho (grilled steak with shrimp). Yum! This was exactly what I want Restaurant.com to do...introduce me to someplace I probably wouldn't have chosen on my own. And I loved it. Thank you.
The server was terrible, and also they served us an already open bottled of wine which they were trying to reuse because it had sediment in the bottom. We did not notice the sediment at first because of the wine cooler, and then when we pointed it ouit they refused to refund the bottle even though it was obvious they deliberately gave us a bad bottle. the serve is supposed to open the bottle in your presence at the table, but it was already opened. The food there is very good, but this night the server was the worst ever, and I felt the company was trying to cheat us by giving us bad wine deliberately. Il like the food, but this was a very bad experience. Maybe they treated us bad because of the coupon.

As always ElWarike is the best little place in town. I have not found any other resturant in Bradenton that can compare to the simple elegance and exquisite food! This is an outstanding dining experience! We took our snow bird parents this time - the state of Connecticut will soon be coming to Florida just to visit this resturant!
