We ordered chicken with polenta and kale, we got chicken with spinach and no polenta. Food is not tasty

Place was impeccable, food delicious, service commendable - totally excellent experience!
the food was good, there was no one else in restaurant until the end of our meal then 2 tables were filled. The disappointing part was that a dog was allowed in the restaurant and sat on a chair at a table with their owner. This totally turned us off.

This restaurant is definitely unique. The owner - Vinny - welcomes you with open arms and gives you suggestions for your first course as well as entrée. While his NYC demeanor may take some patrons aback, we find him most entertaining. He and his staff treat you as if you were in "momma's kitchen." Food is absolutely fantastic! Especially the figs stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in prosciutto and drizzled with caramel sauce!
The waiter was excellent so the service was fantastic. The food was superb and the prices were very good. I was very happy with my dining experience.
It was mediocre at best. Walked in to an overwhelming smell of vanilla. Food was edible but not worth the price. Only good thing was waitress. Very accomodating and sweet. I would not recommend.

Maitre'd was barely intelligible but he did seem knowledgeable. The food was ordinary to poor and there was a large party in the neighboring room which was quite loud.

It was six pm on a Thursday night and we were the only patrons there. Our appetizer order of calamari was loaded with salt, the salad was ok and the chicken parm was salty but not as much as the calamari.

The ambiance at Bella Gianna's is great. It's a classic Italian restaurant which is great for dates, families or solo dining. The food was perfect. I had seafood w/ pasta and it was cooked to perfection.
The food was very good and the service excellent. I was just disappointed that the price of a Coors Light was high ($6.50) most restaurants are $4.00-$5.00.
Great food and great service
Specials are double the average price of regular entrees. Ask the prices! We felt like we were "sold" on the specials plus a $14 appetizer with the promise of a free salad. Something you don't think about until afterwards. So, even with the $75 certificate the bill was almost $200. Not crowded at all for as great as the food was. I think the style of the owner may deter some people from going back a second time. If I go back, it will be as an educated diner!

The food was overpriced and not good at all. My son ordered lamb chops which cost 35 and they were dry. The mashed potatoes were cold and too salty. The overall experience was disappointing to say the least.

They were busy, but the service from the kitchen was way too slow. We waited forever! Another couple near us almost left. The waitress was fine.

Nice decor and good service in an old rustic building near Pack Square. Everything was great except the food was so-so. We were vacationing in Asheville. We'd try someplace else the next time.

9 of us - 4 adults, 5 children. Me & hubby had been once before when the food was delicious & the service outstanding. This time, more of the same! The owner served us himself on this quiet Sunday night. Being a waitress for 10 years in a family owned restaurant, I appreciate the conversation & interaction between guest & server/owner. We eat out often & although this place is about 40 minutes away from where we live, it is worth the drive & going to be one of our "regular" places to eat. You couldn't be disappointed if you tried.

This is the same owner as when it was Romolos. The menu is almost the same. The place needs updating and the "band" was a group of 4 old men who thought they had talent.

We loved your pizza, but thought the rest of the menu was too high priced for us. We felt the "boss", was unhappy/depressed/unfriendly and gave us the impression we were not especially welcome. Our waiter was good. We used to go to Romolos occasionally, and we liked the atmosphere there, but it's "chillier" now.

The food and service were exceptional. The place looked run down and too dark. It was totally overpriced. The coffee was ice cold and had to be sent back, then a freshly brewed was given in it's place.

The food was very good, the portions generous. At about 7:30 PM a band with a singer started to set up and play. we were 6 people at a round table in a far corner, but we couldn't hear ourselves talk. We didn't stay for dessert and coffee. If we want to get together to catch up with good friends, Bella Gianna would definitely not be our choice.
The live band really made the night special for us.

We agree the Pizza was amazing! But the entrees were poor/fair.

The menu looked great. But we were very disappointed in the way the food was prepared. The pasta was hard - not al dente - the gravy was just ok and the meatballs were terrible. Can you really call that filet mignon ? I've never had a filet so thin and served in a sauce. The desserts and coffee were terrific.
Excellent service altkhough one of the wait staff had a heavy italien accent. It was a little difficult at times to understand him. Very friendly owner!!!!

Food was "spotty": one entree was good, the other, only mediocre. Desserts were so-so, and expensive, and the ones we actually ordered (from the menu) were not available! And it was early in the evening. Waiters were pleasant, but not especially attentive or speedy. In general, not the dining experience we had anticipated!
