The Brooklyn spot, which grew out of its original role as a ceramics studio, is complete with chairs shaped like bunnies, an anti-racism library, a lounge-y area, and an impressively varied menu from chef Silivia Barban, who made a name for herself at her Fort Greene restaurant Larina Pastificio. The one thing you won't find at Artshack is single use plastics or waste: there are no takeout bags or containers, no paper napkins, no plastic utensils, no straws, and no disposable cups.
