The food really wasn't that good. The shortribs were tough and cold/ the pork wasnt seasoned.. the best thing was the macaroni salad. I wouldn't come back.
Food was delicious. Service was excellent. And friendly.
Restaurant doors did not open until 1110 after entering it took another 10 minutes to order. It took at least 45 minutes for our food to be served. Excuse was there was only 1 cook.
Staff is very friendly and the food quality is always consistent.

We work our way through the menus with new ones each month, taking the same friend with us each month.
Their menu is great and their staff is super great.
This was my 85th birthday celebration and I have to say it was the best I ever had. Our server, Victoria, was beyond excellent.

We lived in Hawaii so we were picky. However the huli huli chicken was awesome! So was the pork adobo and the bulgogi-style meat! We will return!

Pleasantly surprised. A hole in the wall across from Ft. Sam, but SO worth it! Didn't know it was there. Our hostess/owner said they've been there for 29 years! What a treasure!

Went for dinner at 6PM and was presented with a lunch menu. I was told that the dinner menu was being revised. Then kitchen proceeded to run out of items on the menu.

I was very impressed with how clean and well kept the restaurant was and had it not been for restaurant.com I would not have known the restaurant was there. The staff treat you like family. Everything was wonderful to include the service. My family and I will be returning and telling other friends and family about the restaurant.
I feel happy every time I'm there. Ono kau kau served with true Hawaiian attitude. The Aloha Spirit is alive and well in San Antonio at the Aloha Grill. It's da bess!
A Hawaiian experience as authentic as being there.
Just returned from a trip to Hawaii and this meal reminded us of trip. Small restaurant and a very, very noisy child at next table--but this not the restaurants fault.
food very good. Staff was like family.. It was just a very small place, comfortable no frills, but great service and great food.. We will return...

Our server was outstanding! Very accommodating to the younger members of our party. He kept us entertained and showed a definite sense of humour. He clearly enjoys his job. The restaurant is small and we showed up without a reservation. They took it all in stride and quickly rearranged a couple tables to make room for us. The food was new to us and our server was helpful in making our decisions. Wonderfully cooked and presented meals, I'd definitely recommend this restaurant!
First time dining at the Aloha grill, we wouldn't have gone if restaurant.com hadn't provided them, and I'm glad they did...we had a great experience! They even had hawaiian dancers! So neat, and definitely try the mango pie...so different, but so good!

while the food was good, it took so long to get it. There was 2 other people n the restaurant and we were there 1hr and 20mins. so don't go if ur really hungry go when u just want something 2 eat because by the time u get ur food u will be really really hungry
