My wife and I discovered that Taza restaurant in the Eaton / Chagrin area a couple of years ago while shopping. My teenage son and I discovered this location late on a Sunday morning while walking to a Browns game. We must've parked somewhere around Tower City, and as we walked along the mostly-closed sidewalks on that cold winter day, I'm sure that we were looking for a place to warm-up and a reasonable early lunch. When I saw the sign for Taza beside us, I pulled my son inside. It seemed a bit fancy for a pre-game meal, but I realized that we'd at least get quality food for the price of a stadium sandwich. The service was exceptional. The staff was friendly and attentive. My son has some food allergies, and the staff was patient, helpful, and informative about it. Since I was familiar with the menu from the other location, I ordered my typical Shish-Tawook (basically chicken kabob), and my son had the shish-kabob (beef). We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the elegant surroundings. The early Sunday lunch crowd was sparse and quiet, consisting of us, another small group, and what looked like a few small business luncheons (suits, ties, etc.). My son and I were able to talk and catch-up on things since the atmosphere that day was well suited for conversation. This was an unexpectedly pleasant stop on our walk to the stadium. What a gem!
