We love the food, service and ambiance at Savinos.
I was extremely pleased with everything about my meal -- both service and food. I dined with a friend whom I do not see very often so we spent a lot of time talking after finishing our food and our waitperson was very nice about it.
I always love the food at Savino's. The ambience is beautiful too.

The entrees were very good. The beet tower was ok, was on the small side and not as tasty as expected.

Frank was a superb waiter, explaining selections, attentive to our needs, but not intrusive at all. Very good and extensive choices.
Both meals were excellent. Although, I think for the price paid for my fish Zuppa, I would have expected a bit more food in the dish. Eithe an extra potato, a couple of shrimp rather than 1 or a few more rings of calamari. The flavor was exquisite!
Tom made me risotto to order and it was delicious as always!
I don't eat pork -- didn't realize there was pork in the butternut squash soup. Who does that?

The food is excellent, though the ratio of protein to side dish is disappointing. Vegetable/side portions are extremely small- the dish is mainly protein. I wish the menu made that clear. Dessert selection is not the best- go for the drinks and main dishes.
Food was good but took more than an hour to arrive. Waited for more than forty minutes with nothing to eat after appetizer. Apologies was give a couple of times but no complimentary appetizers or anything else offered while we waited and waited. Cost: $25 and up per entry.
CALAMARI WAS OLD SMELLED TOO FISHY AND IT WAS BORING. RESTAURANT NEEDS TO DO SAUCES WITH THEIR MEALS. PORK WAS DRY WITH A SAUCE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT. VEGETABLES HARD AS A ROCK - COULDN'T EVEN CUT INTO IT. (BRUSSEL SPROUTS). VERY SLOW. THE QUALITY OF FOOD COULD BE THERE IF THEY KNEW HOW TO MAKE SAUCES AND COOK MEATS AND VEGGIES - NOT OVERCOOK OR UNDERCOOK.

I ordered a steak. It was tasty but was very TOUGH. I had difficulty cutting it and it was hard to chew. I would expect being charged $37 the steak would be TENDER.
Savino's is a hidden gem in Belmont. The menu is classic and delicious. The drink menu is inventive.

Upon arriving tonight, hostess said they didn't have enough menus. We asked several people and finally our waitress asked the owner. Apparently, the lunch menus had to be converted over. That should have been done before opening for dinner, I think. I sat without one for over 10 minutes. I have been before (2 other times) and one was eh, one was fantastic. This time was mixed. My dish (scallops) didn't have much flavor, but two other people had good dinners.

Need to have a place you can wait if you arrive before your reserved time. Was hoping to have a drink and arrived 15 minutes earilier only to be told the table wasn't ready which was fine and the bar was full so sorry there is no place for you to wait and had to ask for a drink from bartender would have thought they would be more welcoming and say would you like a drink while you are standing in the middle of the rooom.
I ordered a 12 OZ. Lobster Tail & it was not cooked. It was opaque in color & I had a hard time cutting into it. I cannot believe that they could not cook a tail that small properly.

we have order 3 kind of dishes, two of them were just so so and one of them was good. Based on their price, I would say it was just a so so restaurants.

The food here never disappoints. We had the warm spinach salad, lamb chops, flank steak, and pear tarte. All were exceptionally delicious. Love the ambiance and staff are great. Will definitely be back.

The food was incredibly fantastic! The presentation was elegant and the service was wonderful. My friend and I wanted to split a salad and two entrees--they graciously put the salad on 2 plates and split the 2 entrees in the kitchen for us. The atmosphere was also superb. I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend it to anyone. They went above and beyond; knowing that the dinner was in honor of a birthday...they brought the dessert with a candle and sang to my friend with me...without even being asked!!!

As always, Tom Cutrone, owner and chef never fails to surprise us with his delicacies! Our meal was as always the best! It is always fresh, healthy and delicious. It is by far our favorite local restaurant.
The food was not great. It has been better in the past. The service was poor. You do not put other customers dirty plates on top of the other guests (at the same table) when busing. The loud awful jazz duo was painful to listen to.Definitely drove us away before dessert.
Owner/chef came over & greeted us & we had a fabulous waiter= Shaun. We wil be back!

The restaurant was quite loud. A group of 6 celebrating a birthday were disturbing the whole place. It was not the restaurants fault but they could have asked the group to quite down.
Service was good and the food was above average. The decor, however, reminded me of my grandmother's house or a nursing home. I think a little sprucing up and consistency in music (they played salsa and REO Speedwagon back to back) might do them some good. I would goo back if I had another coupon.
A little disappointed that the swordfish was so thin, especially when I asked the waitress if it was thick and she said yes. It was delicious, though small. 4 oz. maybe?

We loved the layout of the restaurant. Our seats at the table faced out but we had privacy. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. My steak was perfectly cooked and tender along with scrumptious mushrooms and other veggies. I will definitely dine here again. Perfect evening.

Our waiter had a 10 person table as well as 4-5 4 person tables and the 10 person table necessitated more attention. The waiter tried but we waited a bit too long for our drinks, silverware replacement has to be requested.

The three of us had 3 different entrees all of which were okay but not flavorful enough for our palettes. The crabcakes were bland and mostly breading/crumbs. The overall ambiance and service were fine.
