There was only 1 guy taking care off the bar and hole restaurant buy him self, with 1 lady cleaning tables and anything else she had to do. Bless both of them they were busting there butts doing there best,but we never was asked if we would like any water or anything we had to flag the waiter down if we needed anything.But again it was absolutely not there felt!Who ever is running that show Saturday mornings and afternoon needs to put another person or 2 on the floor.And I also have a feeling there's only 1 cook, because it took forever to get our food.But on that note the food was very good,i give it a thumbs up....
The food is authentic with excellent flavor. The salsa was really good. The service by the owner is always top notch. We love visiting and supporting our local restaurant owners. And by the way, they have live Mariachis every Friday evening, a beautiful bar, a small party room, dance floor and now their beautiful outdoor patio with heaters. Go see them. Daily HAPPY HOUR TOO! A year and a half ago, our daughter's wedding reception was held here: partially indoors and partially on the outdoor patio where we were able to set up our own lights and music. The owner Genaro is very, very accommodating.

My friend left his wallet at the table with several hundred dollars in it. We called they were honest and held the wallet until we got back. The food was authentic and so did! The service was spot on! Going back soon!

It was ok, If you like bland food you will definitely enjoy

Food was subpar and tasteless. Didn't taste fresh (we were there just after it opened). Place looked tired and in need of modernization. Also had restaurant equipment in full view of diners and it looked dingy. I think it's past its prime and really needs a makeover or it will not survive.

Poor service - we ordered taco salads and were charged extra to have chicken on the salads. We had to get out of our seats to ask someone to take our order and we had to ask someone to let us pay our bill. We won’t go there again.

Lienzo Charro is one of the few Mexican restaurants in town that serves authentic Mexican food. It's delicious and we've yet to be disappointed by any dish. Their staff is so attentive and ready to serve all of your needs.

Food was ok. Margaritas were really bad. The server wasn't nice and got our order wrong. She seemed upset about the coupon and then took 10 minutes to process our payment when the restaurant wasn't busy.
Everything was pretty good. The meat in tacos could use some seasoning, but if you don't like spicy, it would be fine.
The food came out barely warm, the burrito was just a large flour tortilla filled with chicken (chicken was good), but no other ingredients, more tortilla than chicken. Rice & beans were ok, but cold.
Was not asked whether wanted soup, salad or beans and rice. They automatically brought beans and rice. I wanted the soup and the waiter told me "you didnt tell me" and i told him he didnt ask me.and then he tells me "oh its self explanatory that it comes with beans and rice. I had to sit there and argue with him how it wasnt and he should have asked which choice i wanted. I finally got the soup, which after all that may have gotten some "special treatment" because he was mad.
Food was very tasty, not generic. Not skimpy, actually one plate was enough for two of us and got dessert --- yum!

We dined on a Friday evening and enjoyed the Friday Mariachi entertainment. Met the owner who was very nice.

We had a great time! The environment was pleasant. The place looks great. IT was quiet and not busy at all. Our waitress was great! She checked in on us several times during our visit. I ordered the fish ceviche and my husband had the chimichanga; we both enjoyed our meals. One thing I would have to complain about is the tortilla chips offered tasted a bit off. I can't explain what it is but almost tasted like what old frying oil smells like. That would probably be the only reason why I rated you as a 4 instead of a 5. I typically look forward to a mexican restaurant's chips and salsa.

Decent food. Decent service. Food came very quickly. Alas, like any restaurant, once you pay the bill they ignore you...even for drink refills. And, we were surprised to see an almost $5 service charge on the bill (this was to cover the tip.) Only 2 of us...I've only seen an automatic service charge for large parties.

Couldn't get he waiters attention. Only a few people in the restaurant at the time. No drink refills offered. Waited too long for our bill, then finally got up and took it to the register.

The staff was very friendly. The guacamole was made with avocados that were old so we had to send it back. Our main meals were good but nothing spectacular. The salsa was yummy. The fried ice cream was pretty good!

I believe the tacos are pre-made and that's a BIG no-no in my book. I ordered my tacos without meat but with beans instead. They can in just an uncooked corn tortilla. Um, they should have told me that because I would NOT have ordered tacos.

This restaurant is a little out of the way and if you don't know it's there, you will miss it. The food was very good! Not like chain Mexican restaurants. Plus it was VERY clean and the service was excellent. You could tell the menus are cleaned often. The only draw back was the loudness of the mariachi band. They were very good, but often we had to talk very loud to be heard.

when the manager spoke to us he was very friendly, the only problem was he and the bartender and two other guys were hanging out at the bar going over the books or something, but not paying any attention to the customers.

My family eats at Lienzo Charro in Poway every year on Xmas Eve. The quality of food at the Temecula location was sub-par to the Poway location. It's all in the details: we asked for corn tortillas with our meal - we received flour. Our guacamole appetizer was over powered by lemons.
The place was empty only 2 families dining. We waited a very long time before our order was taken. I ordered a cheese enchilada without the enchilada sauce and two taquitos. My order came with the enchilada sauce on it. Instead of letting me at least eat the other items on plate while I waited for a new enchilad the waitress took the entire order back and I had to sit there without food while my family was eating their meals. They were pretty much done when my new order finally came out. My husband ordered a burrito and chicken taco but his order came with a beef taco. He didn't want to wait so he just ate it instead of having it sent back. I ordered a plain cheese burger for my 7 year old. When we got the bill the waitress charged us $7.50 and I recall the burger only being $4.95 + .30 cents for cheese.
Overall the food was fair. Nothing memorable about this restaurant. For the price, there are other mexican restaurants that are so much better and cheaper. Not a bad experience but certainly nothing exciting. I would not recommend it to anyone either without telling them it was so-so.

The service was great. The food was good - not the best I've ever had. I would have felt greatly ripped off if we had not had the coupon for the quality and quantity of food. I will however try it again.
This is our second time at Lienzos and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The margaritas are amazing! The staff is pleasant and helpful. They also have Salsa dance lessons every Thursday and Friday!

almost empty, drinks in half size glass, food mediocre which made the prices too high.
Service was so SLOW. Our server was also acting as the bartender. We were there for a very long time with a three-year-old. It was not a good experience. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants in town with better food.

THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD, HOWEVER I FIND IT POOR BUSINESS WHEN SOMEONE ORDERS FAJITA'S, AND THE MEAL ONLY COMES WITH 2 TORTILLAS, AND WHEN YOU ASK FOR MORE YOU ARE CHARGED.
The server was good but everything we ordered came to the table wrong. We ordered burgers for 4.95 and we were charged 7.50 instead. I will most likely not come back.
