The fish and chips were amazing although the tartar sauce was rather bland. But the cocktail sauce was excellent. The service was prompt and friendly.

Krains is a great place to go when you want home-style comfort food in a country cute atmosphere. I had fried chicken and my husband had fish and chips. Both were good.

We loved the history of the establishment, and the overall feeling of family in the place because of young and old were there. We talked w/others and it was fun. Great food and we were celebrating our 27th anniversary. We live in Enumclaw and this was close by. We'd do it again. I hope soon!

Their Rib Eye Steaks was Great. I like a Full Meal but found the 12 once Steak enough for 2.....as were the Taters & Veggies so is well worth the $18.00. Unfortunately the Bacon Cheese Mashed Taters were barely WARM. Wine List had MOSCATO but they No Longer Offer a 1 of 6 & then on;y Offer One $5 Wine. SAD !!

My husband likes his steak medium to medium well done. The New York steak he got was still quite pinkish, which to me means more medium rare. The restaurant wasn't that busy so don't know why it wasn't done properly. My husband didn't mind too much as he was quite hungry and didn't want to send it back. Otherwise no complaints.

Service was slow, but that wasn't the problem. The meal I ordered was not what the menu described. I think the cook was not the regular one, because the 1st time I went to Krains Corner the food was great. Very dissapointing this time. I should have sent it back but didn't. I'll try them once more since my 1st experience was better, but if still bad, I won't return.

We really love the food and the atmosphere. Todays visit was inconsistent with our normal time there. The wait was extremely long for the amount of business at the time and the waitress was inattentive.

The server was very nice and the bus boy kept our coffee and beverages full. Coffee was a little weak, looked more like tea. The food was good. The bacon looked like the best I've ever seen and I wish I would have ordered a side of it. We do like their food and will go there again.

Loved the hostess and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The waitress was unfriendly and unattentive. The receipt was not detailed for the cost of the meals, drinks, tax, tip or anything broken out - just a lump sum value - very very disappointed in this experience overall. We have driven by this restaurant many times and were excited to have the coupon to try it out - but will not be returning.

The fish and chips were delicious! ! The rib steak that was 17.99 was over cooked..we asked for medium and got well done...We will not get a steak there again! !!

We had driven by this restaurant several times over the last few years, but never stopped. When I say the coupon, I thought, WOW--I have always meant to try this place! So we went--amazingly good food! Terrific service, helpful staff. A Toatlly enjoyable experience. Worth the drive!
