The menu selections were all appealing; it was difficult to settle. ;-)
All the people who work there are so kind and helpful. We missed going there during the shutdown and were so happy to get to go today even though they are only 25% open. Anyone who hasn't tried their food has really missed out. We started going here when they were over in La Jolla and followed them here.
Marked down because we ordered potato salad but received cole slaw instead.
Good "comfort food". Good service. Will come again.

The waitresses and waiters ae so good at taking care of us, and they are also friendly. Food is always great.
We love the food. We wish Elijah's would open another restaurant in North County. We live in Oceanside and we do not have a deli. My husband loves the mushroom barley soup

The meat was dry and without the dip would not be enjoyable. Twiced baked potato was also dry and not very tasty.

The food was excellent! We had the beef brisket with garlic mashed potatoes. And the stuffed cabbage rolls. Both were fantastic and would definitely order them again.

The food is always excellent and Marie and all the staff are the best! They treat our l,ittle dog Belle like a princess//which she is :) The best deli food around!!!

We usually love the food but not that good last night.
Service and food was good. I wish they would replace more tables with booths that are more comfortable. And they need to clear plates much faster. They left our dirty plates in front of us for over 45-minutes after we finished, while we socialized, and it was annoying.
I was suprised that the restraunt was not packed. The food was very good.
The food was amazing, but the plates were too small for the generous amount of food served. The service needs service. I think they need more help, or need to be better trained. But over all, I will return!
Matzoh ball soup fantastic. Corned beef not so. Too much fat and gristle.
They didn't have the item that I wanted to order (cabbage rolls). So I ordered the turkey meatloaf. It wasn't very good. And I'm not a picky eater.

This is a favorite restaurant of mine. The food is exceptional. Everything is delicious.

It's a new location and the food took a while to arrive. Not particularly ideal with a toddler in tow. Bring your own entertainment or wait until they are older. In the past it was more deli, now it seems more bar, including tvs.
All of us like our food, this is our second time at Elijah's and we'll return in the near future.

The chopped liver left a lot to be desired. The Monte Christo wasn't actually authentic. The omelet was good.
The staff were friendly. The food was great and the layout was neat and clean. Will return soon.

Corned Beef and Pastrami were EXCELLENT!!!! The server that we had was helpful and made very good suggestions for us first-timers.

Servers were accommodating, decor and atmosphere modern, and the restaurant was clean. Noticed there was an event in a back room, but there was no noise from it. No one was watching the TVs (not necessary) and background music was good. Elijah's has heavy food and big portions...Think they'd do great to create an additional "Lite" menu>
The waitress was anxious to close up so she lied to us about there not being any more left of the item we wanted to order. Upon being being pressed further, she admitted there was in fact more, and she just needed to spend a few minutes heating it up.
I particularly enjoy sitting outside on the patio. I like outdoor dining.

We were so glad that Elijah's rejoined Rest.com after their move to a new location. We do not live nearby but travel to eat there when we can. We frequent Rest.com participants as much as possible.
The crispy duck salad is fresh, tasty with a nice dressing that is just right. The roasted half chicken, very tender and flavorful, lightly seasoned to allow the chicken flavor to shine. The veggies steamed to perfect al-dente.
