While the menu selection is very good, I found my particular dish to be a bit bland. The pork was excellent but the black beans & rice needed a bit more seasoning for my taste.

Food is great... staff is friendly and service is reasonably quick. Don't expect any frills... it's awesome dishes, most of which you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else, prepared very well. After that, you order at the counter, they bring your food to the table in a clean, but simple room. If you're looking for atmosphere, go somewhere else. If you're looking for great food and unusual dishes... with daily specials too, put this place on your regular restaurants list. I had a very unique and delicious Paella my last visit. Shrimp, Mussels, Clams, Pork, Chorizo, veggies and rice all seasoned to deliciousness.

I can't seem to move on from the Conosur Chicken Sandwich with Plantains! It's the best sandwich I think I've ever had and, as much as I'd like to try something different, whenever I go there, I just have to have that amazing sandwich! I was told that they might be looking for a better location in about a year, and when I mentioned Long Shoals, they said, "Yes! Long Shoals!" So if you'd like to see them located closer to the interstate and closer to Hendersonville Rd., let them know!

Having such a unique dining experience in our sleepy little rural area is a novelty, and we were not sure what to expect from dishes we had never tried before. We figured the discount made it a risk-free experience, but we were very pleased with the fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes that were prepared with obvious skill and knowledge of the cuisine. We will definitely come back again, both due to the convenient location, reasonable prices and skillfully prepared cuisine.
