Founding 14 Bis in October of 1991 in what was once their garage, the da Silva's took their cues from legendary Brazilian aviation pioneer, Alberto Santos- Dumont. Emulating Mr. Dumont's zest for innovation, excellence and adventure, Mr. and Mrs. da Silva set out on a mission to make a superior pizza. In the process, 14-Bis created an original recipe for the crust, giving its pizzas and sfihas a distinguished, one-of-a-kind, and popularly acclaimed flavor. Not content to stop there, the da Silva team also went on to pioneer the delivery concept in their region, something unprecedented in its time. Staying true to its innovative roots and adventurous spirit, 14 Bis is expanding its operations overseas, to the Home of Progress itself, taking flight in Orlando, Florida, 2020.
