Food is so so....I'm a snob because I'm Indian. If you know your Kurma from your Vindaloo... then the frozen food section of trader joes has better tasting Indian Food.

I was a little taken back that the menu prices were considerably higher than shown on your restaurant.com menu and also the restaurant's website. I wonder if they have TWO sets of menus?

I have had tandoori chicken at various restaurants. Although basically a chicken dish I have always had it served with a small portion of vegies (onion, etc.) jthat are roasted with the chicken peices. Not so at Taj - just a scraping of onion on the clay pan. The modest two peice portion of chicken was not particularly tasty.

Food is mediocre at best. The live music is too loud for dinner conversation.
