Smokin’ Jack’s BBQ started in Milwaukee as a ghost kitchen in 2020. The concept started when local restaurant operator, Jack Holt traveled south to a family reunion. It was at the reunion that he recalled his love and passion for his family’s southern style hospitality. Armed with a binder of family recipes that had been passed down for generations, he came to Milwaukee for a new adventure. Later, he made his way to popular BBQ restaurants all over the country to meet with well-established pitmasters to perfect his smokin’ techniques.
