It was a mid-afternoon late lunch so the restaurant was not busy. The one hostess/waitress on duty was very welcoming and friendly, and was helpful with suggestions. The sushi was good, though not quite great.

good entertainment. I didn't quite get the noodles that were more like greasy spaghetti. Shrimp was under cooked as was the fish chicken was overcooked. Person taking the order couldn't understand what we ordered and we did not know we were ordering an extra appetizer until the bill came.

We had an 8pm reservation. When we got there all teppanyaki tables were occupied, so we went to the bar for a drink while we waited. They had a decent sake list, and we bought a reasonably priced bottle to also have with our meal. The soup and salad came out quickly, and the portions were huge (enough left for 1-2 more meals). The rice and noodles were a bit bland, but the sauces that accompanied them helped spice them up. The staff was also great about letting us stay to finish our sake and talk well after the rest of the guests at our table left. Definitely a place to try, but be prepared to not necessarily be seated right away even with a reservation.

They have great sushi, but our service was very slow. Our waiter was occupied with a few other things, including hosting and left the check with us for 15 minutes.

I made a reservation for the hibachi grill at 7:00. The place was hectic when I arrived but I managed to give my name to the hostess. We were told that another party arrived a little before us (same time of reservation) so they would be seated at the first available table, at which there was no room for us. We were told we would be seated at the next available table. When that table was cleaned off, a party of 7 was seated there and we were not given seats. According to the hostess, 1 member of that party had arrived before us, so they were given the first table. However, the entire party arrived after we were already there. We were told we would get the next hibachi table, but it looked like everyone had only started to eat and we didn't want to wait longer, since we had already been waiting for over 30 minutes at this point. We asked to be seated at a sushi table, and they were kind enough to give us the first available table. If we had waited to be seated at a hibachi table (which our reservation was for), we would not have been seated until 8:00, 1 hour after our reservation. Once we ordered, it took 10-15 minutes to get our soup and salad, which arrived at the same time. Within less than 5 minutes of getting our soup and salad, our entrees arrived. We had barely even started on our soups at this point. By the time we started on our entrees, the food was cold. Our waitress gave us a discount of 15% off our bill to compensate us for our wait.

The teppanyaki combo dinner was decent but the portions were small. Nothing special, just tasted like normal fried rice dish just made on an iron griddle. The teppanyaki cooking was done sloppy - ingredients falling off side of griddle. My friend got almost burnt from the fire because the cook wasn't able to control the fire well. The fire totally engulfed his wine glass and almost got burnt.

Service is slow and the restaurant was not as busy. We dined during the weekday as well. We noticed other tables looking around for the servers. Also, the steak teriyaki meal my partner had was not hot, the entree would have been perfect if it had been hot. Good food though!

Deco is great. Food is pricey but not extraordinary. Seems to be a place for younger crowd. Won't go again since it's too far from where we live or work.
