I had one of their signature dishes - the most expensive thing on the menu. I have never had lobster before that I did not like. This was a first. It was old and tough. How do you make lobster tough? My wife and son did not have lobster, and thought the food was average.

Food was delicious, service was excellent, and the prices were fair. I highly recommend this restaurant for family dinners.
The decor is outdated but the food is fresh and very good. The fish tanks we're super clean.
Food ok, not stellar. Rice is extra(??). Service has to have been the worst I’ve ever experienced, and even on a Fri night, it wasn’t busy, so I can’t use that excuse

the waiter was not wanting to substitue or add a vegetable to my dish. My husband is vegetarian and asked if we could have kung pow chicken except add broccoli and no chicken. He got some other dish with mixed veggies and a sauce that was like any kung pow I have had before and no spice what so ever. It was just ok. everything was really oily too.
Awesome food and HUGE portions! They need to update their furniture and décor though, it was a bit dated and getting run down.

Musty smell upon entering, cavernous building, dark areas, followed the light, old piano, no people. Stood at one podium 2 mins. no one At another 5 mins before anyone noticed us. We are new in Everett are looking for good food close to home. Service was poor. I had to remind them of the eggplant l ordered. It was mushy, over cooked & unrecognizable! We are not foodies. We will go to many places lacking “atmosphere” of the food is good. The ambiance is broken down Denny’s circa 1950. Big tv’s (sound off) advertising Thailand etc. Mismatched chairs, tile floors with caution signs, “slippery when wet”, main dining room very brightly lit Everyone in full view of everyone unless the were behind you. Only good thing I can say is they have 2 nice clean aquariums with beautiful fish. Too beautiful to eat.

entry area has off-putting odor. staff not very attentive. plates were very cold and took the heat out of the food very quickly
There was no line or waiting to be seated on this Friday afternoon at 4:00pm. Friendly service and our server greeted the regulars by name, making neighborly conversation. Most restaurants can't get Hubby's Martini order right, but Hunan Palace not only got it right (down to the details), but seems to have the best price he's seen. Good food and compliments to the cooking staff (good chow mien, too). Easy parking.
Friendly staff. Good food and large amounts. More than a meal with the comfortable atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
The staff was very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed. Tea and water was replenished as needed without asking.
I like this place for reliable Cantonese food. They are always courteous and quick. Portions are good.
General so's chicken is not what one would expect. It taste too soy saucy. Would probably avoid next time but crispy noodle was excellent.
The service there is not friendly at all. We only return because they have the best Mongolian beef. We usually only do take out for this reason.
We wanted a booth table and they said it was reserved but it was never filled in the whole time we were there. Customer service is very poor. The restaurant smell bad too.

The Service was quite good, water refilled before it was empty,checked in with us to see if we needed anything,asked how the food was.

reception was awful. I had to stand waiting for someone to sit me in. the server and the bus boy were both rude, short, and unfriendly. guess, when you come in with a coupon, they are not happy about it. they should not even offer their services and restaurant. the food was good, but the service is awful. we will never go back there because of that.

Always enjoy the experience and the food. I am partial to the Kung Po Chicken. Today we tried the Lemon Chicken and it was great! Beef soft noodle chow mein was very good as well and I am picky about beef in Chinese foods.

Great service from attentive staff. Interior seemed more inviting than in past. Food was improved but not exceptional. Overall a better visit than last visit maybe 6 months ago.

For Everett this is a good Chinese restaurant. It never fails to produce good food with good service at a reasonable price. The staff is not overly friendly but is there when you need them and pays attention to your needs. At this lunch our food was delivered with minimal delay despite many other parties being in the room. A place we like to come back to.
I asked a waitress to close the back door which was less than 6 feet from our table at 7 p.m. She said 'it's hot in here' and walked away. Fifteen minutes later she came back and closed it. As we got up to leave, she rushed over and opened it again.
Meals are very nicely prepared, with good quantities.

Before I retired I ate at the Hunan Palace on a regular basis. It's recently been remodeled and look fantastic. The food is excellent also.
Customer Service and Friendliness lacking. The dinning room empty.
Service was quick when I arrived.Since I was located in a blind area I had to wait a long while to get the check. Had to flag down the server.

I tried a combination dinner and enjoyed the variety of flavors. My wife had the lettuce wrap which was really good. They are in the process of replacing their flooring, so it is nice to see them making some updates to the restaurant.
We got to sit outside and it was beautiful evening. We had a wonderful server who timed the food very well. The food was terrific and very reasonably priced.

The waiter, Justin, was excellent. Also, the reason we were going was because I had a doctor's appointment in the area and I saw they had a butternut squash pasta. Later, I found out it was only on the dinner menu and the chef said that he could make it anyway. That was very accomadating. The only reason I rated the a good was because the pasta was chewy and a bit underdone, but my friend loved it and her husband bought a restaurant.com coupon for he and she to go!
food is great! service...took our order, waited for soup and waited and waited.....had to ask for food after 20 min waiting. we watched as everyone else ate that came in after us.
The food was ok. Kind of bland and can taste the vegetable oil. Pricing was very fair to value. Still thought it was good to take home
An area of focus is certainly their customer service. Thought i'd try to give the restaurant a second chance but still lacking in the service excellence. Not so friendly atmosphere. Perhaps that may contribute to an empty restaurant not many dining patrons.

The waitress indicated the soup and sauce is for dine in only and no to go; and also had no to go containers. However when approached another wait staff, he provided a to go container for the soup we already purchased. Not very impressed with the customer service relations. This restaurant can certainly improve in that area. Please pass that onto the management staff as this could certainly use major improvement there.
