Fruit cocktails was fermented, cheesecake tasted like it was in the refrigerator uncovered. Yuk times 2. The menu food was good.
Great food and great service. Small crowd. Very courteous and conversive waiter.
There were only four tables being served. Total 12 people. It took us over an hour to get served. Even drinks took 15-20 minutes. Only 1 server.

The restaurant did not have their signature dish that evening. Plus, the food we were served was very mediocre and we waited 90 minutes for our food!!!! The waiter was very rude. No one apologized for the long wait. We were celebrating an occasion, otherwise we would have walked out.
The waitstaff is friendly and experienced. The food is excellent German food. The best I have had. The owner is always there and makes you feel like your home.
The owners came out to talk to us, they were very nice. A very unique place with a lot of memorabilia.
The meal was fantastic, slow paced, not rushed out the door. If I wanted to eat and run l'd go fridays. We we're out with friends, laugh, drink wine & eat, great evening. Loved it.
That was the poorest excuse for German food we have ever tasted. I am Austrian born, have family in Europe that we visit every few years so we know what schnitzel looks and tastes like.
One man was the host, waiter, busser, cashier...The only other person working was a cook in the whole restaurant. We have been there many times before and it wasn't like this experience at all. Even some of the food items were not available as was on the menu. The owner was not present. Dessert case almost empty. Salad bar needed filling. The one person just couldn't do it all. At one time there was 8 tables. Where was the staff?
i just love this restaurant. Over the years have brought many friends and relatives. Warm and welcoming staff and owners, great food and great value.
The Group we went with are more regular than we are. We have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant and always receive excellent service.
Service painfully slow. food allowed to sit on tray too long before serving...resulting in cold or tepid food.
If you want a genuine old country experience, this is the place. It is like a museum with a wall of fame of special visitors. I t does not detract from the food, which is excellent. The corn fritters are my favorite appetizer, and I am tempted to order the applesauce as a dessert!
nice place, our guests enjoyed it. 30 minute wait on food
The owners are great!
Excellent service
