Their ubiquitous marinara Sauce was flat and with little personality!
We ordered the fish fry buffet. The salad bar was very fresh. The buffet had selections for everyone. It was very tasty.

Great Fish Fry! There are a lot of good places for a solid fish fry around this area, and Doubleday's is definitely among them.

Good burgers and breaded green beans!
They were not busy. But when we were not eating they cleared everything off table as of saying leave this place. Made us feel we were taking up needed place. There was it two other tables in the place
The fish fry buffet was really good (so say everyone else in the party; but I was disappointed that I had called and asked if they had steak (which they said yes), but when we dined they stated that the steak was all gone for the week.

There was only one waitstaff, and she seemed a little frazzled. It took a while for the fried shrimp on the buffet to be refilled. But our service was impeccable.

the portion gets smaller and smaller. You sould tell them that customers complain.
Everything we ordered was excellent. You can taste the freshness of all the ingredients. We even had to take half of what my wife & I had ordered because their portions are so generous! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice & relaxing & our server was so kind & accomodating. We would definitely go back.

The food was great,and we didn't wait long for our food. Very understaffed- there was only one waitress working, and she was very busy! The restaurant itself could use some updating (torn booths, outdated wallpaper, etc).

Food was Fabulous. Manager Richard was easy to work with on special request. Gretchen, our servers was on top of her game. We had a wonderful time.
