We had to do a pickup due to the Covid-19 coronavirus, but the service and quality of food was excellent!

We had a little problem with our food. My husband got the wrong order. They graciously apologized and took away to make what he ordered. I was left with my food to eat. It was our anniversary & I really did not want to eat alone. I asked if they could take it back and keep warm until his was ready. They did this, but when I got mine back it was dried out and hard, the sauce was no longer saucy. My husband’s meal was delicious. I will go back because I have had delicious meals there in the past, just not this time.

The food was good, but not great. I felt it was a little over priced. I paid to add sausage gnocchi and there was hardly any in the dish.

The staff is pleasant, polite, professional, and real Italians using their beautiful Italian language at times to give an lovely Italian vacation feel as you enter and order. The chef’s dishes are authentically Italian, amazingly delicious with fresh ingredients the VERY BEST far better than any other Italian restaurant in San Diego County and we eat out a lot. They also sell oysters and lobster. Their happy hour is amazing, top notch as well. Bartender Nick is very attentive and he and the manager always makes us been welcomed back in to their wonderful Italian restaurant.

The food and service is always exceptional. We sat at the bar for Happy Hour and Nick was very attentive. Everyone there works as a team !

The Tables were too small and there wasn't enough room for two plates, silverware, appetizer, water glasses and cocktails. The menus were HUGE and a person had to turn away from the table to open the menus. The food was blaze'. very little sauce on the Shrimp Fettuccine and it wasn't very tasty. Filet Mignon Risotto was like a soup with tiny ground up pieces of beef ( it was more like a hamburger helper type meal than something from a classy restaurant) and it wasn't very tasty. The bread and dip was delicious, but none of the rest of the meal was worth it.

This was the first time we used restaurants.com and to be honest it has not been the best experience.First of all, I have a credit on restaurants.com but my credit card was charged. it was not taken out of the credit we have. There was no one in the restaurant and it still took them 45" to receive our food. We paid a lot of money for pizza and calzone and all we had was water. Expensive bad pizza and calzone!!! The menu for this restaurant on restaurants.com was nothing like the menu there. Although the workers were nice, the food was not good. There was no flavor. Very disappointed. Our son said Little Cesars was better than what he had, which I agree. Thats not saying much for the restaurant. Everyone was still hungry when we got home.

Host was nice. Wrong salad brought, not the one we ordered. Food was served cold--even the pasta--and no one asked us during our meal how it was. When the host/waiter asked us about it, we had finished our dessert, we told them the entree was cold. When he brought the check he said he took off the cost of the dessert. No comment about the poor quality of the entree.

The waited was only person there dealing with a happy hour crowd and dining room. He had one helper but the manager needs to employ more on a sunday. He did the best he could. When he asked how the food was..my husband discussed his food was not good. He said sorry and we never saw him again. His helper gave us the check etc.

As a pasta lover, I really enjoyed the spaghetti alla carbonara. However, I didn't find the gelato al cioccolato exceptional. They put a sort of raspberry syrup on top of it that I didn't like and ruined the gelato taste.

The wait staff At Ciciotti’s is always exceptional, Especially Edoardo. They are very attentive, professional and timely. Dishes come out at well timed intervals. Wine selection is decent. In addition the restaurant has an AMAZING dipping sauce for their warm bread. Which is severe prior to the meal. Definitely Recommend!!!!

We go out often & this night out was very enjoyable. The waiter made sure we had everything we needed I felt like we were given special attention even though I was aware of others receiving the same attention. The food was fabulous and the presentation impressive. We without question will return!

Lots of choices in Carlsbad, we live here. This was great! Watched a manager make three chairs a place for a lovely couple to rest a sleeping child to allow them an evening to enjoy a great meal which we too enjoyed. Very accommodating as we arrived without a reservation.

We love the Cardiff location. We decided to try this one to see how it is. Definitely not as good. The skewer with shrimp and scallops (forgot the name) was undercooked and the dish was way overpriced for what you get ($29). We won’t be back to this location but will frequent the other location again.
